If the vax doesn't keep you from catching it, why are these employers making it mandatory? Birth control is only 99% effective at preventing pregnancy so why should anyone use it? Very few things in this world work 100% of the time. You've got a basic choice here. Take an American made vaccine that has not had long term clinical studies done on it, or get a Chinese lab made virus that also hasn't had any long term clinical studies done on it. I'll take my chances with the Americans. Lots of folks are exhibiting side effects associated with the vaccine, like enlarged hearts in teenagers and neurological & respiratory issues in adults. There's a good chance I'll never catch COVID. If I take the experimental/untested vaccine, there is a dramatically increased chance I may develop health issues as so many others have. I'm more afraid of the vaccine than the virus. Only people I know that got Corona were avid mask wearers.. Ill take my 99.8% chance. The same amount of people have died from the corona vaccine side effects as have died from all vaccines in the last 20 years according to CDC.
God loves you just as much as anybody else!!

At the end of the day it only matters what HEB's policy is. As when they decide to move in and take over, Brookshires will be done.

It would beat up any HEB that stepped in its path. Being in the Tyler area now, Iโd be grateful for either. Brookshires rules this roost though.

I finally gave in and got it. I see arguments on both sides. I agree with Mark & others who have no issues with incentives from employers but have major problems with mandates from employers.

This logic escapes me. Seems like this โIโm an islandโ view would also allow us to smoke in restaurants and planes because whatever I do only affects me. The reduced number of flu deaths should prove how effective washing hands, wearing masks and social distancing is at preventing the spread of illness.
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.

Private incentives don't bother me. Taxpayer funded incentives, I have issues with.
