Ghost is the bomb. Couple things. Get the 52" shaft...especially if you fish deeper waters. Buy the remote.
The pedal is actually easier on you and saves ur legs more than you would think compared to the Ultrex.

Only negative is the prop...make sure you carry a deepwell 17mm socket as the shaft bolt is longer than other TMs (dont ask me how I know this)....lol.

I absolutely love the ghost.

One thing about the Ghost vs the Ultrex, if you have the Ghost on a high setting be careful when you press the button again if it is turned to the side because the Ghost does not have a slow start. It runs at full blast at whatever your last setting was and you don't want to fall out of the boat.

I installed on back when they first came out. I liked it so much that I swapped it to my new boat when I traded. I had 2 problems with mine. The directional arrow - as all have had, and mine started going nuts running on it's own, and not changing directions and such. Finally found that it was from a few that the seals failed, and it got water in the motor. They sent me a new one. Several have said how well it rigs to Lowrance units, and it's true. It also rigs very clean. no coiled cables, and no cables running across the deck. You'll like it.
