We made a quick afternoon trip yesterday afternoon. We got the boat in the water at 4:15 and caught 20 before ever cranking the outboard. We hit 4 other spots catching fish on each stop. We pulled back to the ramp to leave at 7:15pm. We ended up catching 101 white bass in the 3 hour trip. We caught fish on a tailkicker, kastmaster spoon, and a multi-jig rig, depending on the depth we were fishing. Most fish were in 3-10 feet of water. They were feeding on small bass fry in several places as we would see them get spit up right at the boat.

That bass might be a record!

He was probably the healthiest tiny bass I’ve ever seen. The only downside for him is that the white bass we’re feeding pretty heavily on these small bass.
