This looks amazing, but it's pretty pricey, about 9$ a pop. I'm curious if anyone here ever tried one of these?

You’re in the wrong hobby if $9 bothers you.

the best thing to do with a lure you think is to expensive is to buy 10 of them. When you only have one you won't be comfortable throwing it into places where the fish are. But if you have 10, what the heck I can throw that under a dock or into a brush pile. I have nine more if I loose it,

I plan on losing $25 worth of lures every outing. Cost of doing business.

I fish lots of rocky shallow spots and quit risking damage to my boat trying to get a $6 crank bait back.

Last time out I lost 2 spoons and 2 or 3 spinners- I was upset. So yeah I'd hate to spend 9$ on a lure just to lose it after a few hours.

Nice looking spoon. I like the variety of colors. I would visit a Cabellas in person and inspect the spoon to see if their is really anything special about it. If not, I would invest in multiple replicas of it. Another option if you bought it would be to remove the treble hook and put on a good sharp J hook. May find less snags than a treble.

Constantly. Between the plastics weights and hooks 9 bucks equals about 5 hrs of fishing.

Lures in my arsenal run $7 to $70 each, I haven't lost a $70 lure...............yet. I know my time is coming and it's going to hurt. That's fishing!!

I tried to recover a $9 crankbait this weekend and a big wake pushed me into to a rock and did about $500 worth of damage....never again, I'll just break it off and keep it moving...

I've seen many people break $100 rods or reels trying to retrieve a lure as well.

Guilty, broke a NRX over a tungsten weight and a hook

Never heard of that happening to anyone I know. Maybe it's you you're referring to?
