Good morning everyone, hoping to fish Fork here in the very near future but have not been on the lake since mid March. Hoping that I am not the only one but I have been struggling on every lake that I have fished this year, the fish just seem to elude me and I don't know what has happened. So, anyways, any general info on Fork that anyone could share would be tremendously appreciated. Not looking for anyone's spots or honey holes just a general idea of what a pattern or 2 might be so that I might actually be on fish and maybe catch a few. Lol. I fish hard and stay all day but have just been totally sucking at catching them. Thanks in advance, everyone stay safe and good luck when you are on the water.

Thanks,
Jimmy

the lake is finally starting to catch up to where it is supposed to be when we start having high 90'2 days. The water temps are still a little cool but will catch up very quickly with this heat.
And the fishing has been G-Reat !

Go watch Billy Lawson, that’s funny.

I’ve been on the caney arm, as said above, starting on shallow flats near points with either pads or grass, buzzbait and spinnerbaits. Also had luck fishing between some northern area’s main lake docks that had scattered grass. Frog over the top. swim jig and chatterbait on the edges. Then go flip the docks. Or Crig points.

I’ve noticed way more blow ups on the frog lately and them not fully taking it. Prolly cause they’ve seen 100 frogs a week right now. Lol. We’ve caught more lately on the Santone swimjig up shallow. But I’ve mainly moved out deep. Some good schools are setting up nicely!
