And I mean house flies. Anyone else cover up with them. Never seen them this bad. Any way to get rid of them other than a fly swatter of fly strip?

They are really bad here too. Was out picking some fresh basil yesterday, and there are hundreds of baby black flies around my herb garden. No idea where they came from; I've never seen so many baby flies. Best thing to get rid of flies is the disposable rescue fly traps. Stick with the rescue brand, and stick with the disposable. For whatever reason, the others just don't work as well. They stink, and they attract lots of flies, so hang it outside away from doors or windows, and away from where you will be hanging out. ![[Linked Image]](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71cSwyXBnXL._AC_SL1500_.jpg) As for getting the ones already in your house - do yourself a favor and get a bug-a-salt gun. It's not the most effective fly killer by any stretch, but it is by far the most fun.

I hung one 10 foot from my back fence in a cow pasture.

Don’t fight it...change the dynamic and just turn into the skid. Westside got a Venus flytrap and now he likes to see flies in the house.

We’re cover up in flies, ants, knats and mosquitos. Been here 38 years and don’t remember any of them ever being this bad.

my dyna trap is working in overdrive killing all the bugs on my deck. with the DT it attracts the flies to the trap because the smell of all the other dead bugs inside of it. its kind of fun to watch them get sucked into it.
