The jobs would look a lot better to people if the government would quit sending mailbox money to everyone for no reason.

Most higher paying jobs aren’t posted on the states unemployment website. It’s the same for Texas too.

And many of those jobs will be filled with workers who are being overpaid.

There are plenty of good paying finance jobs on TWC but they are primarily in banking or financial services not manufacturing. I am on there every week. Until Covid hit I collected less then 3 months of unemployment in 40+ years. I have no problem living off the state for another 2 weeks.

They can move south to Huntsville, AL. The new Mazda-Toyoda plant now says no experience required to get hired.

Even at 485,000 something is fishy about 97% of the jobs paying 9.61 an hour or less.

I was doing my job search on TWC this morning. For the type of jobs I am looking at financial institutions, hospitals, universities, property companies, and Amazon have the most postings. Not my cup of tea.
