If you haven't tried Winco Fried Chicken, do it. We like it better than any store or Chain Chicken. Never tried Winco but my local Brookshires beats all the chicken places I have tried

Grandma Underwoods at Underwoods in Brownwood- the last remaining Underwoods restaurant. And dont forget a pint of their orange potato salad! Never find any better! Last time I ate their had the BBq and it wasn't great guess I will have to try the chicken

I do love me some fried chicken. So where is this joint and is it better than MooMoos in Victoria? Right now it’s number one on my chart but always looking for a contender. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/BZfMsLP/MooMoos.jpg) Pat, when I lived in Victoria in the late 70’s there was a better chicken place than Moo Moos and it was gods. Just can’t think of the name of it.

AQ Chicken House in Fayetteville was my regular for Sunday Dinner years ago when I lived there. Hard to beat.

Used to be a small chain around Texas call Tinsley’s. Great chicken and yeast rolls. I think they are closed now. There were over 50 of them at one time. The last one, in Huntsville, closed in 2013.  My wife worked at the one in Lufkin for a year or so while she was in High School. It was the best chicken around without a doubt.

Gander it is the “BBQ” place but i never have called it BBQ. The “Beef Steak” comes from pressure cookers but I actually like it with the good sides they provide. Gotten pricey over the years.
