Anybody go watch take-off this morning? I'm hearing that it's dang near impossible to do because of the lack of access to the state park and parking etc... I went to the Classic when it was on the Red River and watching take-off was good. I'd love to go watch it at Roberts, but didn't want to make that drive if it isn't worth it.

the park is shut down to us peons per one of the company reps that tunes equipment.
doubt it would be worth trying.

We went to the take-off this morning, it was great! We got there around 5:55am and were able to park without much trouble and had a very short walk. No problem getting in and right near the festivities.
I expect Sat and Sun to be busier, but we really enjoyed it this morning.

Some of us have to work but I doubt I would go anyway.

I went this morning and did not get there till 6:00.
Drive right up to where they were taking off and walked 200 yards at most and stood there and watched them take off.

I went Friday , it was easy to get in and park , everbody was real nice , Ted Cruz said the Prayer  Probably go back Sunday
