I don't think many pros on Elites or BPT throw a C rig anymore. BTL had a segment on about it a few weeks ago and tge guys being interviewed said there are far more efficient ways to fish brushpiles and such with other rigs instead of C rigs.

Swim Jig with a skinny dipper trailer (white trash), T-rig Zcraw or Rage Craw or weightless Senko all in Watermelon Seed. Frog (any color) in newly flooded grass.

Buzzbait and chatterbait worked well Friday night, at least in 3 coves off the main lake.
I’ll add a swim jig to the mix, with the clouds and rain.

Buzzbait and swim jig has been the deal last few weeks. That storm last night had them in a weird mood today. First time all year I didn’t catch any size.
I didn’t see any pro catch today. They seem to try to avoid the flooded stuff. Probably thinking it will change by the weekend.
I did talk to Brandon Palaniuk a little bit. We were both fishing the same area in Indian. He said he was on the struggle bus today.

I know just not willing to say Let me guess. The bait that catches the most and biggest bass will win. Am I correct ? no, you suck at this, go to the carp section and repent. lol, You should head back to the OT and post the sucky weather forecast.

Buzzbait and swim jig has been the deal last few weeks. Was out Saturday evening as the storm came in and this was not happening for me! I backed off a little deeper on the end of some secondary points and got bit fishing slow but they were not having the buzzbait in all that beautiful flooded stuff. At least not where I was. After today looks like things get a little more stable weather wise...
See you on the lake and have a great day!

Never been on the lake, I would say a jig and crankbait.

If they hold the water I will say a big rod and big line will do some damage

If they hold the water I will say a big rod and big line will do some damage I am not sure they could release any water if they wanted to. Every lake downstream is over full as well.
