Hey Okie, I never heard what happened in your son's tournament. Pretty sure, had it been good, it would have made
the TFF headlines, but do tell.

Looks like McLennan is doing pretty good tonight up 6-1 over San Jac in the 3rd

I would have yelled to the tops of the mountains if we would have done well.


Unfortunately, we went out in the first round quarterfinals against a team that we swept during regular season. That's what really sucked. Momentum absolutely killed us, too. The first game of best of 3 series we were leading 8-0 going into the 8th inning. Short reliever and closer choked their chicken and we lost the game in the 10th by a score of 10-9. It was as deflating of a loss as I've ever experienced. Their momentum carried over to the next day. My son started on the bump and looked great first inning. 2nd inning it all fell apart. Other team didn't barrel but two hits but everything came off their bat as blooper but found a hole in the field. He lasted 4 innings but the damage had been done. We eventually lost 8-6 and was knocked out. My son had his worst year out of the 5 he's been there. Struggling with impingement again. Although, he's got one more year left (gonna be 6th yr RS senior) next year and says he will grit it out. He's on the verge of breaking lots of records for the school so that's cool. We will be back next year as strong as ever and I'm expecting a run for MIAA championship and Div2 Central Region title. All the stud players should be back.

MCC #1 pitcher Logan Henderson 8-2, 1.87 ERA, 138 strike outs (best in the Nation) should get the start tonight.

MCC plays Central Arizona tonight at 8 P.M. for the National Championship.
