Crankbait and C-rig will get the bigger fish. Topwater for smaller fish.
Old pond dams and road beds.

White/red headed Hot Spot and a purple/white tail creme worm.

You young bucks may have to ask an older guy or google what a hot spot is. I’ll give you a clue....

After seeing next week's rain forecast, I'm going to change my answer to frog and jig.

Has no one mentioned Chartreuse Pepper Ring Fry on C-Rig ?

I was out at Ray Bob yesterday afternoon and caught of few fish on spike-it dipped worms on some offshore structure.

Did not have any luck shallow in the flooded grass and brush but only fished mid-afternoon.

Slide right, coming in .... Fish On!

Yes, and all those easy buffet meal newly spawned shad and sunfish should still be in the shallows.

My initial instinct was a relatively bigger swimbait like the Gantarel Jr to catch larger bass shallow to separate from the field, but with all the rain this week, just not sure the water clarity will be there to do so effectively.
