Thinking of making a quick run tomorrow morning. Seems Ray Roberts might be the best in the area right now, but wouldn't mind giving Lavon or Lewisville a shot either.

edit: local news sites are saying Lewisville is likely to be closed due to rising water. That would leave RR or Lavon.

That wind was bad down at RC. Mix in the pleasure boaters and it was wavy!

Both ramps at Lewisville - Pier121 were open yesterday, and the fishing was very nice, but the catching was slow until about 12 noon. The bite picked up and I caught lots of little ones, with four nice 12-13". Could not detect a pattern other than there were lots of little ones on the brush - where they were last year about this same time. Searched and searched until I found two piles with numerous large returns on two piles in 16'. When the clouds cleared around noon - it got HOT!

Thanks for sharing and at least it was catching and not just fishing. grin I was going to launch out of Little Elm but got mixed info on whether it was open or not.

With the lakes up, they are not going to be in the same places as last year brushpile wise. Got to find the shallower piles or vertical cover to do really well IMO.
