We took a short trip to Amistad yesterday. When we got there the wind was blowing a little harder than usual. We fought it for about an hour. Fishing in crazy wind makes it challenging. Very slow fishing, but we still caught a few.







We came across this water snake basking in the sun, looked like it had had a good dinner.


Everybody was released to swim another day.

Nice diversity. That last one is not a fish.

Yesenia...Is that snake a water moccasin ? Kinda looks like one, but is lighter in color than the ones I grew up with on the Guadalupe river...

Vogey, it was a diamond back water snake.
