im considering getting livescope and want to make the unit portable to use on different boats. Ive read that the units are power hungry. im thinking I will need a high AH battery, im thinking id making a box for the battery and black box to sit in, with a solar panel trickle charger on top, has anyone tried this?
Im thinking on sunny days, it would put some power back into the battery as im using the unit. maybe a 12x12 solar panel.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

you won't get enough charge from a panel to make any difference, they are meant for batteries that will be sitting unused for a period of time.
