Power pro is ok, but there is much better. Sunline plasma is much better, less noisy and doesn’t dig into the spool like power pro.

I’m trying out the Berkeley X9 in various sizes, frog rod and spinning reel. So far, performing great with no issues.

I thought you liked the Samuri braid better. I use Samuri and Suffix 832 I do like the Samurai better than regular J Braid but the J Braid 8X Grand has won me over.

Is the Grand J braid 8X new?
Samuri is very quiet for braid. I was impressed with it for the lack of noise and it seems very slick.

Samuri is very quiet for braid. I was impressed with it for the lack of noise and it seems very slick. Yessir, the 8X Grand is fairly new. The castability is great, I have become a big fan. I love the grey color.
