buda13 TFF Guru Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 21,111 NRH, TX	Jake, they close it at elevation 595.0. I’ve seen a 7-8’ gator that runs with one about 4’ twice this year out there. Big momma doesn’t like having her picture taken, but the smaller one doesn’t have a care in the world. With all that current last week or so it wouldn’t surprise me if they showed up further south.

The area Brent placed the pin on is up in what we call the swamp, about 1/4 mile past the “no boats” restricted area. I’m certain the one at the link below is the same big one I’ve seen this year, that sucker is wide, no doubt could eat a deer.
