Hello I just moved to Longview , TX a few weeks ago. New to the area. Where are some good small body water that has good bank access for Bass Fishing. So far i have discovered Elder lake. But looking for more places. Also interested in fishing tournaments as a back seat angler.

 Donโt know a lot about Small lakes in Longview but if you drive 45 min - a hour north here in Mt Pleasant, we have several lakes with good access for bank fishing.
Men are like fish...If we'd learn to keep our mouth shut, we'd stay out of trouble.

Lake of The Pines has several state parks and the spillway can be good at times.

Lake of The Pines has several state parks and the spillway can be good at times. No state parks on LOP.
