Not really an epic trip. We joined about 80-100 boats on the lump day 1. The yellowfin were there but the bite was pretty slow. Jigged in one blackfin on the Striker Tackle jig then decided to try some rigs. We wanted faster action and Hit about 12-15 rigs within 60 miles and only managed one blackfin on the troll. Fishing on the lump picked up later in the day and most boats had a few yellowfin and blackfin with an occasional 100lb yellow mixed in... First day results pictures...

Second day we took off to a deeper rig. Blackfin were there and we quickly jigged up enough with our striker tackle jigs for bait then started chunking and deep water jigging for yellows. No surface action to speak of we probably saw 1-2 busts but that was about it. We had steady hookups on the chunk and ended with 8. Hit a few rigs on the way back and hooked one that came undone. Special thanks to Dan, Neil, Charles Mike and Murphy for making the trip, Striker Tackle for the lure pack and Captain Eddie for doing everything he could to put us on fish!

Nothing wrong with the catch even without the big one.
