Can anyone tell me are they releasing water below Texoma Denison dam? Anyone catching any fish? Dying to go fishing would like to head down there Wednesday or Thursday this week spend the night at state park fish below dam. Don’t know any other place to fish for striper from bank. Anyone know of a spot or two I’d greatly appreciate it, only go couple times a year unless I hv my boat any help greatly appreciated, gid bless be safe out here p

Thought, if anyone has a boat abs a empty seat, I’ll gladly pay your gas and whatever else I need to get out on the water, I’m 59 years old, safe, a lot of experience fishing on Texoma, just boatless for a while abs hating it. Hv my own gear, cast net and can catch bait if needed. Main thing hv cash to foot my own way text me 817threesixeight11four2, hope it’s alright to post this if not let me know I’ll remove. Texoma was an absolute Azzwhipping for us this weekend. We found plenty of fish, and had a school run through one time that would bite. Other than that we couldn't buy a bite Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. They were schooling, and chasing shad, but completely ignored the ones on our hooks, except for that one school. My buddy did manage to catch quite a few smallmouth though.

I suspect the water up there is gonna be chocolate milk for the next few days after all this rain.

Caught over 25 fish Saturday on topwater from public bank. Water was more clear than I expected. Although I expect that the red water is making its way toward tabletop area by now. They opened the flood gates today, but I cannot give a report to the fishing below the dam. Will know a bit more about that tomorrow morning.

Also just an FYI....in the bank fishing forum of this site there is an ongoing thread titled Denison Dam that may at times help you on fishing below the dam. Good luck.
