Do any if y'all have one of these? If so, do you like it? I have more grills/smokers than I really need, but I've got an urge to buy one of these. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/05/full-92527-97606-download_2.jpeg)

Seen multiple videos. They look like a lot of fun. With the exposed flame and hot metal, I wouldn’t fire it up around young children.

Hey Beer Money, just wanted to let you know that I don’t have one of those. You need to get one so I can borrow it and see if I want to buy one for myself.

Had one a long time ago and thought it was pretty cool at first. It cooks very fast and the meat is tender. There is no airflow in the cooking chamber and when you add wood chips inside you get that dirty smoke creosote flavor. I gave it to my neighbor after owning it a year or so. It made decent food without the wood chips but in no way does it compare to any charcoal grill or smoker.

I have been using one for several years. In my opinion, it is outstanding for butts and ribs. Cooks them very fast I never noticed the creosote flavor as described above, but I will say I never got a good turkey off of it. I know people that get pretty good turkey from the Orion but not me.

Have one, it does cook fast. Agree with Po Boy on ribs. Can cook up to 6 slabs of baby back ribs, just add extra time. I like to throw them on a grill after they come out to do a little caramelizing. Lots of recipes out there.
