Went to my local lake yesterday and had a good time. I don't fish it much anymore mainly because quality is low and recreation is high but squeezed for time and chances of storms so I stayed close to home. I found a new spot to fish and it was loaded. Probably pulled 40+ out of that spot but only 15 keepers (all returned for someome else to catch). Mostly black crappie and super lite bite but I was in the zone. I marked this spot a few months back but never fished until yesterday, thought originally it was brush or man made structure but it is just a single log and a mass of fish just off to the side.

Nice, esnow! Did they stay schooled up right there or move around? Seems like one log may not hold them long. Last time out I had a few pods moving around a general area and they were tough to keep track of.

Last time out I had a few pods moving around a general area and they were tough to keep track of. Sat on them for 2 hours of constant fun, may have hit the "jog" button on spot lock once or twice but never moved more than 5 feet one direction or the other.
