I couldn’t pick just one. Just drop me off in East Texas and I would be very happy with all the options there.
Slide right, coming in .... Fish On!

For just going fishing, the Sabine River is the most convenient with a ramp 10 mins from my driveway. But my pick for just one lake is Toledo Bend!

Lake Holbrook near the Alba Golden area and just a stone's throw from Fork. It's just a miniature version of Lake O' the Pines but without all the traffic. I had some really good times on that lake this year. I like Lake O' the Pines as well, only fished it once and did that this year, I'll be going back. Any of the flooded cypress lakes at home in Louisiana just because of the shear beauty, I know how to pick those lakes apart so I'd catch fish, grew up doing that.

The Amazon / Rio Negro for peacocks I went with Ron Speed a couple of years ago. I would like to spend a month there. It’s too hot to make it a one and only. Having those Peacocks explode on a big Wood Chopper is pretty special. It’s one of those places that everyone who likes to fish must go.

West side of DFW- Bridgeport because I live on the lake and have grown up fishing it. East side would be Tawakoni. I just feel like my chances of having a good day and catching fish are pretty high when I launch on either one. I love fishing both.
Overall in Texas it would be Toledo Bend.
Overall in the US it would not even be a question for me......California Delta. I love that place.

If the lake was closer it would be Falcon.
