EVA foam has been the trend for 15 years but I still prefer cork. I'm finding out cork lasts longer too, I have some old carrot stix and the foam is deteriorating and falling apart while the corks ones of the same age are just as usable as new.

If you're looking for improved grip you may want to try www.vukgripz.com and don't let the baseball grips confuse you. It comes in a roll like winn grips, but it is thinner and has the most unique texture out there. I can't explain it you just have to feel it to understand. It holds up as well if not better than any product out there.

If you are wanting to seal them cause you don't like the dirty look after a while. Don't worry. Just take a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to the cork and it will make the cork look brand new. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyZYjWsIKNw
