That doesn’t happen with power tackle, just sayin! Sorry for your loss! It didn’t break on its own. Was due to me being a dumb@ss.

Are we going to get the story? No big story. Had a jig hung up in some brush. Pushed the rod in to free it up and jammed it into a rock.

Been there - although in my case it was actually my @ss that broke it. I’ll call Loomis tomorrow to see their process. It’s like $125 to replace. Not even going to try to claim warranty even through its new.

In the future, don't use your NRX as a push-pole. A broken NRX is a sight that might bring tears to your eye! I'm sorry for your loss. I broke a new Megabass Destroyer boat-flipping a three pounder. Good warranty replacement process with Megabass but, it was a $150 lesson in how not to boat flip a bass. I suspect you will also learn the $150 dollar lesson.

That doesn’t happen with power tackle, just sayin! Sorry for your loss! These are the dumb posts that make the internet "fun". Just ordered another Power Tackle rod, and a huge fan. Hope it's here this week. 8 nrx's in the box, plus GLX's, and IMX's. Talked to a buddy who sat on a Power Tackle rod a few weeks ago and had a similar issue. Having said that, Loomis will fix for a price, Power Tackle rods are great, and Minner Bucket is.........!

That’s why I keep rods to around the $150 range. Doesn’t hurt as much when you break one. I probably break about one per year. That being said I brought a $330 Waterloo rod for saltwater. That will probably make it the first broken.
