Watched just about every video in the series Ken and learned a lot in how to break down a bass boat. The one thing that "analytics" cannot factor, much like in sports, are things like feelings and emotions. In the end, the numbers got you to a point, but your emotions are what sealed the deal. In no way am I bashing it, because it's human nature, and it's what ultimately makes us all different.

Great looking boat Ken! I get the "family" feel. I used to (and still do) go to some of the big box stores to buy fishing stuff, but the first time you walk into a Smitty's or Barlows you know you're getting treated like you're important to them. You're part of the "family" and not some corporate robot shopper. Times are changing but nothing feels better than someone treating like you belong! I'm in my first BC as of January this year.

I'm sure they are the ones that gave him the best break on price. Everyone is bought.

Really, what facts did you base that decision on? Bass Cat isn’t known to be cheap by any means and they, like many manufacturers, can’t keep up with the demand. Sounds like you’re butt hurt. It didn’t sound like to me Ken made his decision based on the cost at all, he bought what he wanted. He seemed very excited as he should be, hope he enjoys the boat for many years.

I too am wondering about the Lynx bow hooking. Ken made the comment about the Vexus hooking, seems like the same can be said about the Lynx???

I did not rewatch the video but I thought I heard him say he got on the Bass Cat Team, maybe that had something to do with the choice and price, either way hell of a nice rig, I looked at one pretty seriously a few weeks ago.

He may have gotten a “team” deal,I have no idea. Either way, heck of a nice boat but then they were all nice and I’d be happy to own any of them! I’m not planning on getting a new boat anytime soon with one kid in college and one starting in a little over a year but the Lynx is at the top of my list. I’ve never had a wide deck boat but as I get older I think I might like it, more like need it.

He mentioned that it was what he wanted - for multiple reasons.
He didnt ask for anyone's opinion or approval of his choice.

I watched them all and kept telling my wife he needs to run a Lynx. It has all the stuff he mentions other boats lack. Then you ran one. The rest s history! Good luck!
