Made it out to Pool today with 220 and a collegue of mine expecting it to be a calm and serene day. Well the weatherman missed it again, it was nonstop 15-20 mph winds but the fishing was decent we managed 55 sandies and 3 LMB's... We kept a mess of them for a fish fry.

I did super in the morning at Benbrook today and really bad in the evening. I think it may have been becasue I had 220 with me.

Another decent day on Pool counter said 41 at the end of the day and I was glad to see the local TFF'ers and the warden's and Shreiff's dept dilligently at work.

Recreation traffic was really heavy and those sailboat people are some real arrogant arse clowns. One sailboat came within 5 yards of me and another boat.

We used hammered CC 1 ounce slabs and an RJR Beast, I found that I had placed in the worng tackle box. I also managed a few on D's 2 ounce Broken Glass Special but it was too heavy a slab to use on sandies but it was working like a charm... Nonetheless, the fish did not want anything except the hammered slab and the RJR, we were literally letting the slab sit on the bottom and crank it r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-w yes that s-l-o-w. We missed a good deal of fish and lost at least 12-15 at the boat.

We had no bleeders today, I suppose it was the barbless hooks.

Get some RJR's people they catch fish for me and they are dirt cheap.
