Neighbor lost a big one. I am guessing $500.

Looks like a hackberry. Had one fall over in my yard saturday night.
I hate photobucket.

I bet its more in the ballpark $2000 if they've got their own chipper.

I'd give that one a try myself before I paid anyone.

I have taken down bigger trees but always had a clear landing spot.

I'm not familiar with prices in your area. But I can almost guarantee it will be more than $500 if you get a legit insured & bonded company. 2 Billyjacks with a craftman saw, a bent single axle trailer and 1-eyed dog will be in the $500's if not cheaper.

I've seen sparks from my chainsaw trying to cut up a hackberry tree. Good luck.

I bet its more in the ballpark $2000 if they've got their own chipper. No need to chip. Just cut. We have room to stack the branches and burn some day. I have a big pile the grows and shrinks.

I'd deal with it myself if it cost $1000 or more. All you need is a chainsaw and a truck.

Guy in Rockwall looked at it. He said $800 to drop it and $1400 to cut up and haul off. Picture does not do it justice.

It will be more than $500, maybe way more.
