A lot of my worst fishing trips are after a big rain, when the rivers and lakes are still murky. We've never been able to pattern those conditions, never found fish willing to bite.

Do y'all, the Texas experts in fishing, have better luck? Anything you target in particular?

I ask because it's looking like the next couple of weekends will be muddy.

Watch what they did on Neely and try to copy it on your body of water.

Stay out of the creeks and go fishing. Looks like rain is around next week too. We always need it but I'm sick of it.

I always have good luck after heavy rain. Slow presentations work well.
