I put over 400k on my 2013 3500 Mega 6.7 after buying it new. I traded it in last year for a 2020 2500 Crew 6.7. After owning these 2 and coming from Chevy, i can say the all around durability and reliability of the 6.7 is amazing. Not one mechanical issue with engine or trans on either one. I deleted the 13 after 150k miles when it flooded during Harvey and fried the DEF system. My 2020 pulls like a dream and unloaded gets around 22 mpg on the highway and around 18-19 pulling my bass boat. MPG is the one reason I strongly considered a Cummins. Nothing else really comes close. Lots of folks on the duramax facebook pages with 500k+ miles on the new L5P with no problems too. Modern engines are truly amazing in terms of reliability and price.

Dodge will pull fine, excellent engine braking, limited amount of gears will slow you down on steep long hills, air suspension great for load leveling. Great interior. Ford will out pull on those long hills because their transmission has 10 speeds and you can get the biggest motor in the f250 unlike dodge requiring you to upgrade to 3500.. Ford has a outdated interior, suspension isn't bad but not superior, poor engine brake. I am a Ford guy and would pick a Ram for diesel.
