Look for birds, or casually join a boat party in progress (respecting boundaries), is the easiest way on Texoma. Otherwise, use your graph, and look for what appears to be a volcano going off underwater. That'll be striper feeding on shad. I'm a live bait guy plain and simple, but there are many other techniques. High /Lo rigs with a couple bucktails, and a small swimming chaser on the hook, swim baits by themselves, A rigs, you name it. If they are running shallow enough, just trolling a rattle trap will snag them. Don't know personally, but have heard the topwater bite is killing it early, on some lakes. Whopper Ploppers, Zara Spooks, Jitterbugs, Hula Poppers, all will work.
