I could do some creative selling of my inventory but the State Board take a dim view. So I better pass.

I have trusted several people and none have let me down. They got what they wanted and I got what I wanted. All done on a handshake. I can't imagine trusting anyone with a sum of money, and expecting my phone call or text to get answered when I have the rest of it this day and age.
Having a dad who's a CPA, I learned at a young age you never pay asking price, even at the grocery store, there's always wiggle room. I can't imagine trusting anyone with a sum of money, and expecting my phone call or text to get answered when I have the rest of it this day and age.

I had seen my boat for sale on a champion page for a couple of months. got told I was getting a check that would cover it (former owner of the ranch) so called the guy. went up to branson mo./tablerock liked what I saw and offered to pay full asking if he would hold it till check cleared on a 15% deposit, did me one better.
ended up giving him 1,000.00 down (10%) and he and I went and had the titles signed/notarized at his bank, hooked the boat up and I brought it back still owing 9,000.00 on it. smoothest transaction like that I ever had, even tags/tpwd was a breeze with my paperwork.
he had his money in less than a week, I waited till I could get a cashiers check on it.
a handshake and your word or my word is normally good enough for me, if I think something could go south then it goes on paper.
people on here have always done me right, hope I have done others the same in selling/buying.
