Headed ton vacation end of June. Worth taking boat or to many pleasure boaters. Never been on this lake.

Conroe got good hybrids and whites. There are good structures and points on the south end of the lake, about 1 mile north of the dam. Fish early and come in early before the pleasure boaters. Good luck.

Right, I'd say the most critical thing on Conroe, or any big Texas lake in summer, is to start as early as possible. Be off the water by 11 to miss the pleasure boaters and the heat.

Can I find them schooling? I don’t fish with live bait. If I find them on graph I will slap for them.
