That boat looks like the one a friend of mine restored last year in Jacksboro, and the RV park looks like the one on the Old Seymour Rd in Wichita.

What's the definition of perfect pitch?

When you throw a banjo in the dumpster and it hits an accordion.
rock

What's the difference between a banjo and trampoline?

You take your boots off to jump on a trampoline.

That is a D'Addario Soundhole Tuner. All the ccoll kids have them nowadays. grin Works great! $15 on Amazon. They are better than the headstock electric tuners cause they don't have the tendency to get lost or borrowed.

Nice! Will definitely check into one.

BTW, I traded my old Martin and picked up a new D-28 1937 authentic aged. Honestly, IMO it doesn’t play as nice as yours, but it sounds fantastic! Whenever convenient and we could work it out, would love to come to your “studio” and show it to you...pick some, swap tunes...etc. thumb

Exactly!! Great little RV park. Real close to Sheppard AFB. In the mornings, I was awakened to a sound I remember well when the jets took off. Great venue. They have a little geese sanctuary there that is being taken care of by a Wildlife Rehabber. Cool stuff. We were up there for 4 days. Good folks up around there for sure. We had some players come down from Okieland.

Nice! Looks like a good jam. Perfect weather Sunday!!

As far as the geese go, them things are everywhere here. They might outnumber the pigeons. You’ll be sitting at a stop light and you’ll look over and see one with a band milling around in a parking lot.

I hear ya. They were pretty tame, would walk up into the RV area. There were numerous little baby geese following the mama around. That RV park is probably 5 miles from Sheppard AFB. We ate dinner at a few of the restaurants nearby. I can recommend Don Jose's for sure. Another, Casa Manana, noted for it's "Red Tacos", I cannot recommend. We really lucked out on weather. It was projected to be bad the day we went up there, but a little rain and that was it. That RV park is very good. Well maintained, clean, friendly staff, etc. They are having another bluegrass venue in the Fall, we will likely head back up there.

Please post when that happens, might stroll over there if we’re around. Were there any local guys there, I’ve seen High Flyers (just down the street from Don Jose’s) have little jams. I met my wife at Don Jose’s, the margaritas made it happen. cheers
