I have been impressed with dobyns rods. Their fury series has a 2 power spinning rod.

Have you gone by Fun N Sun in Hurst to see their rod selection? In a previous post you asked about a specific rod that you had trouble finding, and I suggested you call them because they have a good selection of rods. Have you done that yet?

I have. My next NRX will probably come from them.

Dobyns are 20% off at americanlegacyfishing.com, ends tonight I believe. It's -15% on the site and add another 5% if you use DOBYNSFB5 as the code.

I bought their medium-light 7ft drop shot rod recently and am very happy with it.

My favorite weightless wacky spinning rod is a medium Abu Garcia Vendetta ($80 usual price)
It’s more like a medium+ which is perfect for weightless wacky around thick grass.

It’s also good for drop shot on the outside grass lines.

Falcon and TFO each have great rods at that price point! Put another hundred with it and be patient and you will find a GLX or something along those lines slightly used on here. I have an NRX I bought off of someone here for $200 that was all but brand new.

See you on the lake and have a great day!

You can also go to the Dobyns warehouse in Sulfur Springs if it isn't too far away from you and pick up on some trade in rods for a good price. They have a bunch to choose from. I have bought several that way.

It’s good enough to catch a DD and light enough to use all day. $129 regular retail. Go to Southwestern Parts and Service and check em out. Pay in cash and you just might get out the door for close to the $100 budget.
