IF you have an Ultrexx with ipilot link connected to a Humminbird, when you are using the jog commands on the Bird, which way is it going to move if you try to go an any direction. I though it was in relation to the direction of travel but appears to be random. When I hit the + sometinmes it goes forward and sometimes it goes left or right or backwards. I'm confused. Is it based off of a North eheading?

For Jogging to work, the Minnkota Heading Sensor has to be powered, calibrated, and installed correctly ( it comes with instructions)
It ONLY works when Spotlocked, when selected it moves the boat 5' in the direction you choose.
It is based on the magnetic North Pole since the Heading Sensor is a compass.

Thanks. I will try imagining North when I use the jog features. The Heading sensor is powered and calibrated. Just couldn't make the motor jog in the correct direction.
