Simply put, I got some advice today from "The Old Farmers Almanac." I wonder if I'm the only one...my fishing results today coincided with what I read; a few bites but no real hits, but I did get a lot of practice with my new rods and reels! I enjoyed it!

Addendum: I visited a local pond here in north Richardson. Several bass, decent sized, swam in front of me, but they did not hit...this time! The crappie weren't biting either, and I know I have to get my casting/wrist skills back up to speed. Jiu Jitsu classes and the batting cages might help, or would they?

...wisdom

That was so long ago it could be considered a totally different facet of people. LOL.

Forums are a blessing and a curse. It is humorous that people will judge you by the number of your “post count” and not the content of your post.
