lost in the ozone
this is my guides boat in costa rica, on a 19 ft mirro craft aluminum (my dad owned it previous). it burns thru 12 gal of gas in about an hour at about 3500-4000 rpm. runs great has had many mechs. in costa rica look at it but still has the prob. i am going down for a month on the first of oct. and will look at it but need some input as to possible cause. i have been my own mech for 30+ yrs and have some ideas but not familiar enough with this particular motor. any input will be appreciated. can email me at allanscott1954@yahoo.com or just post here. thanx in advance.

I have an Epic 22sc which is a little bit bigger with more freeboard so it catches a lot of wind. I went with the Xi5 80# with group 31 batteries and find it to be more then enough. I don't tournament fish anymore but have run it all day bass fishing in 15+ mph winds and didn't run the batteries down enough to worry. I also occasionally use it to troll for white bass and it will pull my rig at 2.5 - 3 mph as well.
Oh BTW my first post on here. Been creeping on this site for months and registered a few weeks ago. I read a lot but don't post much.

more than likely,my first post was some very un-complimentary comments towards the #$%&*# owner of another fishing folrum who had just banned me for "being unappreciative" of him providing a place for me to post my outdoor experiences....

JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST BOAT, HAVE BEEN FISHING FOR YEARS. LIVE ABOUT TWO MILES FROM LAKE ARLINGTON AND IT IS REAL EASY TO HEAD THERE AFTER WORK IN THE EVNINGS, ANY ADVICE ON WHERE AND HOW TO FISH THIS LAKE? THERE ISN'T MUCH ON THE PAST POSTINGS ABOUT THE LAKE.

In response to someone's grandson winning The McDonalds at Big Sam: This is great.......loved it. Give us some follow up on the young fishermans aspirations in life . BTW....what is he doing with the prizes ..... just curious.
