I would prefer to watch the Toyota Series on Rayburn. Anyone know what happened to Clark Reehm, was he with the angler that passed away? it was a "CO" angler as it was reported Reehm is and has been a pro for a good while Reading comprehension not your specialty I see. How big a boy are ya?

That’s about as good as Travis has to offer. They definitely hit Rayburn at the wrong time.

They need sunshine and some wind for Travis. It fishes much better. Funny thing is, it's actually got a bunch of big fish in it. They are spooky though. Three weeks ago they would've caught them really good. I know a guy who had 45lbs one day. He had 15 over 5lbs that day. This weather is the worst conditions for Travis.

Tuned in majority of the day. Seems like BPT is hitting these lakes at the wrong times or something is just up this year as far as overall results. One or two figure it out and then 3rd through 40th are separated by minimal amounts. Makes it interesting on cut days, though. It’s been a unusual deal since post-COVID and after a major winter storm. These Texas fish are doing some weird things Most definitely. Wild year. I have had some of my best days on the water, and worse days on the water and it’s completely opposite. Under normal circumstances I’ve had “perfect conditions” and couldn’t buy a bite, and vice versa. I still enjoy these grinder tournaments where it’s close. Maybe I’m weird, but I enjoy the Sabine River events for the exact reason...no one is out of it until time is up.

Typical Travis dink fest. Wheeler's catching em, but a 3 lb average. I think there's only five or six fish over 5 in both days total with a lot of the best fisherman in the world out there. LOTS of 1 and 2 pounders like what this lake kicks out most days!! Dang...I shoulda signed up! LOL!

How did dickie newberry get in or did he take someones place who couldnt be there. They qualified by being the top finishers from one of the mlf pro circuit events. It was one of the Florida events where him and miles burghoff did well. They get to fish this event only, unless they do well again and qualify for another.

Was that really a rattlesnake? Every rattler I've ever seen in the water had its tail up out of water but I couldn't really tell. I mean it dang sure looked like a huge rattler but ... Same here, I’m from Tennessee and have seen them in the water there and they had their tail up. Talked to a marina owner and he told me they always have their tail up, not sure if it’s true but that’s what I was told and what I’ve seen. We killed the one I saw and my friend put it in the cooler to take it home and eat it. It was way out in the middle of a big, wide cove but was easy to identify with its tail up out of the water.

rattlesnakes and cottonmouths both swim with their body on top of the water whereas water snakes swim with their head on top the water and rest of their body submerged....

I'm still surprised at how many are still spawning. 3-4 weeks ago and the weights would be significantly better. It's not hard to catch fish on Travis but it's tough to catch the big ones. It's frustrating to pull up to a dock and see 35-40lbs under it and impossible to get them to bite...
