So...if you are Lance Leipold, what is the best approach to take re assistant coaches, the offense, bringing in guys you trust etc. First time he sees his new team they will be playing the spring game.
Should he leave things as they are with only minor tweaks?
Leipold has brought programs back from the dead...I hope he can do it again. Tough job...hope he is up to it.

Very good hire.
He's in a tough spot as far as getting coach's. I'm sure he'll see if anyone from Buffalo wants to go along and
probably end up keeping most of the previous staff till after the season. Leipold is in a very very tough spot in yr 1

He does have a few things going in his favor.
1. Low expectations. Coming off an o for season, any hint at a win will be noted as progress.
2. KU is finally near the 85 schollys. Kansas has played short handed for years due to mismanagement of Mssrs Weis and Beatty.
3. Red shirt players will be available who are P5 caliber players.
4. Team talent is improved. QB play should be better.
5. Line play will be improved….how could it not be?
No doubt he has a tough hill to climb. He has brought programs back from near death before. Here’s hoping he can do it again.

It would be nice for some of the bottom ranked big12 teams to improve.
I may become a t-shirt fan if they get good.
