I understand, but that’s not an option. Not without a lot of training which will require a leash, e-color or other barrier

Drain the pool.
I had a Brittany Spaniel. You could not keep that dog out of a pool, lake or river.

Trying to break a Brittany of being fond of water would be cruel at this point. And also not going to happen. Trying to break it of getting in your pool is totally different. My lab used to fetch birds, but he’s never once attacked our chickens. Figure out how to train your dog, maybe take it somewhere to swim and watch it closely in the back yard and train it to not use the pool. Pool ≠ fun. Water = fun. You can do it.

Put a hair dryer in the pool, that might do it
