Mudshark, either way would a week be too long? Yes. I repond to every email the day it’s sent. Some days, that is late at night, but I never leave a request unanswered.

Seldom feel the need to do so but I find if I'm not receiving the response required I usually resend, requesting confirmation they have received my e-mail and cc their superior. Usually gets quick response.

I’m horrible at following up, the sooner they learned not to expect it, the better. If they complained, I just told them about my rigorous follow-up system...where I dealt with top priority stuff before time-wasting stuff. I got terrible customer relations feedback but they always had great respect for my honesty.

I respond to business emails within 24 hours and expect others to do the same.
