Bought my wife a a 2 gallon rose bush at a local nursery. Just had 2 buds bloom and they look nothing like the picture on the container huh

Kat was the Rose guru. Personally I hate them due to RRV and don't even attempt to grow them.

Don't know much about roses. House we bought a few years ago had a Double Knockout Rose bush out front. I cut it off, thought I dug out enough roots, even sprayed it with RoundUp. It kept coming back up. So we planted a couple more.

I have very limited rose knowledge but from what I recall most nursery roses are grafted plants and if they get cut back below the graft will come back as whatever the root stock is.

Texas sun will bleach pink roses white.

Just like photos of food on advertising, the photos have been touched up, air brushed, and enhanced.
