I have all clad non stick pans. They've been good. Hold heat really well, pre heating pans is a must because they're thick. Never above like medium high, we warped one. We, I guess I should say wife. The handles are terrible. I'm sure there are better ones out there now that I think about it. Good luck.

Heavy bottoms on aluminum pots. Cast iron for frying pans. There are things that a good non-stick skillet is good for but not really needed with a properly seasoned and cared for cast iron pan.

Circulon. The best. They have a nonstick surface that is EXTREMELY durable and they clean up very easily. They ain’t cheap, I know...cause my wife won’t tell me what she paid to get all of them.

Cast iron is great; but it’s too heavy to be practical as a daily skillet for most wives and daughters.
