The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our annual Open tournament last Saturday April 27th on Lake Ray Hubbard. The day started chilly and finished warm and of course windy. As always on Ray Hubbard it was a case of the haves and have nots. Lots of good bags and lots of zeroes. 40 boats came out to fish with us! When weigh in was complete, the team of John Melby and Adam Vesely came out on top with a great sack of 21.15 pounds. Their bag was anchored by a 6.70. Big bass of the event went to the team of Jeremy Williams and Steve McClendon with an 8.16 giant. Here are full results and pictures.

Bubba and Elliott Davis had four for 8.95



Chris Atkinson and myself consider it a moral victory just to catch five keepers on Mother Hubbard, They weighed 9.86



Brig Norwood and Tony Bryant weighed two for 10.71



Their kicker was a 6.75 toad that held down big bass for most of weigh in



Jeremy McLeroy and Cody Stewart had five for 12.36



Cameron Laing and Patrick Sharp weighed five for 13.80



Tommy and Tony Climer had a solid day weighing a limit for 13.98

Finishing sixth were Jeremy Williams and Steve McClendon with five weighing 17.03



Their bag included big bass of the event, an 8.16 beast



One more time



Fifth place went to Clark Crenshaw and Billy Wilson with a limit that went 17.42



Fourth went to Jay and Garrett Browne who weighed five for 17.48



Third place went to the red hot team of Russell Olds and Matt Jackson who weighed 17.90 with a 6.37 kicker



Second place with a great bag of 20.40 was the team of Brett Killingsworth and Doug Rener. No giants here but a bunch of 4-5 pounders
