These YouTube guys know how to stage and edit video to result in the most clicks. He is getting the intended reaction. Good lord. Welcome to Monday. The video was DELETED by him. Just another example of an idiot posting a YouTube video of himself breaking the law. He is not breaking the law if the fish are of legal size. From TPWD site: Can I catch fish in public water and take them home to stock my pond? Fish that are legally harvested from public water may be stocked in a private pond. “Legally harvested” fish are caught by someone who holds the required fishing license, observing all applicable length limits, daily bag limits, and gear restrictions. For more information on licenses and regulations, see the Texas Outdoor Annual. Again you are 100 percent wrong. Yes that part of the law he didn’t break. The part of the law he did break was taking water from the lake with the clean drain and dry law. It’s written in literally black in white and that’s the reason he took his video down. Is your boat completely void of water when you leave ? Do you drain and wipe the livewells, lower unit, bilge ? I bet not. If the wardens really want to enforce the drain and clean law. Then every boat should not have any water dripping from the boat when leaving the parking lot.

Why are so many rooting for this guy to fail? I do not have an opinion of him personally or professionally. But, judging from some of the comments posted here some of y'all walked in and caught him with your wife or daughter LOL I’m wondering the same thing, but on the flip side. Why would anyone defend him, are they hoping he’ll come hold their hands? Take them fishing? Put them on his YouTube videos? I don’t recall anyone defending the BassChamps guys that culled the dead fish. Why weren’t guys saying they were innocent, the video never showed a dead fish.

Nope but to write a ticket you would think the game warden would have to prove he violated the law. That means he took lake water and transported it and drained it out in the other lake.
If I was stocking my own lake now that I know the law I would do the same. Take tap water or rain water and use it so I could stay legal. Wouldn't you?
Ok so when your leaving the lake and a game warden checks you at the ramp and asks if you have fish. You say yep in the livewell. How can you prove that isn't lake water? By the color? Hope he just believes you?
I can backlash toilet paper.

I doubt very seriously that a warden is going to cite for having fish in a live well taking them home to eat or release in a pond

Wait, is this the same guy who "unlocked" O.H. Ivie? You're just now figuring that out. Hence all the hate.

What about every trailering tournament on Rayburn, Toledo, Travis, Lbj, Belton? Not everyone drains their livewells on site and no way to prove it It's perfectly legal to leave a ramp with water in your livewell and go to another ramp on the same lake. If you are in a tournament that has an offsite weigh in. You just need a note from the td A note? Lol we've never been issued notes for every trailing event in TTT, Basschamps, etc on Rayburn, Toledo, lbj, wherever. Plenty of times I wouldn't drain until I remembered it. Could be at home or another lake. My point is, there's no enforcement of that. Not sure why that's even a conversation here ...

Not until it’s thrown in someone’s face of blatantly breaking the law in the tune of 100,000 views. If you don’t think Gamewarden’s wouldn’t jump on this you are wrong. Wouldn’t surprise me if he was already contacted.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he was already contacted. FWIW....even though none of you sherlock holmes level detectives can prove it, and Id doubt game and fish could get this to stick....i do think he mightve broken some laws since he deleted...but also maybe not and just wanted to nip it all in the bud. No matter what you say either way, its all speculative.....and its still innocent until proven guilty in the USA in 2021. It was dumb of him to basically dry snitch on himself and bring him the heat either way. Also, the GWs do watch youtube videos. I think for sure 1rod1reel was visited by his local GW.....and I think it mightve been either milliken or one of the googans (mightve been flair and he worked it out with GW, cant remember exactly) who had another visit them. In both scenarios in a roundabout way the youtubers said it was kinda like a "hey we're watching so dont break rules as it can be a bad influence to others" type deals. I really figure unless you are literally describing all the laws youve broken and show how on film....its gonna be hard to make stuff stick. its also hilarious all the clean, drain dry super heros on here. Purely reaching for something to be negative about. Absolutely hilarious to complain about that all things considered 🤷♂️
