Dad caught a nice surprise! We were just soaking fresh dead shrimp on the bottom Fishin for reds and he hooked on to a beast! Didn’t even plan on making the video but I started once we realized something huge was on. So it’s just the fight and landing. Enjoy!

That Video is simply PRICELESS! That is one "GREAT LIFETIME MEMORY! Congratulations to your Dad for landing that MONSTER JACK!  Side Note: You to for doing some great boat work and netting that fish.  That was one AWESOME FIGHT!

Thanks I appreciate that! It was a LONG 40 minute fight. He fought it like a pro! Probably the best experience I’ve had Fishing yet. The craziest part was that we were just soaking dead shrimp on the bottom for redfish. NEVER would have expected this.

That is all I use "The Cheap Stuff". Of course I go after much smaller fish than you do. I have caught my share of bigger fish using the cheaper tackle. I fish for fun and I love using the cheap stuff. That's just me.

Yes sir! All my gear is “budget” friendly but I do take really good car of it. My favorite reel was the original H20 xpress Mettle until they discontinued them. I bought 2 on Father’s Day for $20 a piece about 8 years ago and still use them today
