If you've lost a drone recently in San Antonio please let me know. Give me a description and the location you lost it and I'll get it back to you.

Mod please move if necessary.

Well I tried. It was a longshot anyway. Not surprising being that I did some research and it was a fairly cheap drone.

Now that I think about it I could probably look up the registration with the FAA. Still have to register drones here in the States?

If the unit weighs more than .55 lbs the owner/pilot is required to register with the FAA and afix the number issued by the FAA on the outside of the craft. That number can be traced to the registered operator. There is a high likely-hood that if the unit you found is over the .55 lbs threshold the owner did not register. It does not take a very big quadcopter to weigh just over half a pound.
