I had my boat out two weeks ago and it would idle fine but did not want to get up on plane. After about 30 minutes and some starter fluid I was able to run for 2 hours and I thought everything was blown out and was good to go. Took the boat out yesterday and same issue. Ran fine at idle but once I tried to open her up she bogged down and died. Iā€™m leaning carbs but found it weird I was able to run a couple of weeks ago and now back to same issue. I run ethanol free fuel and use sea foam in each tank. Any chance fuel line between motor and tank has gone bad? Or anything besides carbs? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Fuel lines are cheap and easy to fix
Pull it off and look at it and change it

Its the carb the jet are so small using starting fluid might move the trash and when set it came back, I would recommend getting carbs rebuilt

Is removing and cleaning the carbs a process that a shade tree mechanic like myself should try and tackle??? If so what are some pitfalls I should be aware of? My boat has literally been in the shop over a year in the past two years.
