The worst awards show in the history of the world will be on TV Sunday night!

Bad news -- it will ruin your normal Sunday night viewing.

Worse news (and the reason for this thread) -- they have announced that the time allowed for winners to accept their award had been increased. The show is now expected to last for well over 4 hours! Four plus hours of folks who think they really are important telling us how we should be forced to live our lives.

I have never cared to watch it in my life. I could not tell you who they were when they won whatever they won. I use to watch the CMA when country music was good but in the past 10 years or so, I have not watched that.

Viewership dropped 20% from 2019 to 2020. I can only hope that it drops more this year. Get woke, go broke.

These award show threads always make me SMH.

People making a big fuss over something they claim to have absolutely zero interest in.

The ratings have been nose diving for years and I hope that trend continues!

I'm just wondering how you have an award show when you had little to no movies come out in the past year. You get an award, you get an award, you get an award.

I would imagine this show will be less about movies and more about providing a place for a bunch of “social warriors” to bash this country. I’ll pass.
